Our goal is to provide meaningful, dignified, personal service to
the families we serve. We strive to treat all people with the utmost respect,
even as if they were part of our own families. Our main mission is to give
equal access to all people regardless of race, religion, nationality, or
individual belief.

Our Funeral Home opened in March 1954, the owners were, Robert Galbreaith, John
Galbreaith, & Lambert Pickard. The Funeral Home occupies the old Couts
Methodist Church building. J. V. Plowman went to work for the
firm in March of 1955, and he purchased the business in 1975, and managed the
business until 1993 when he retired. The current manager James R. Plowman has
been around the funeral business all his life. We have grown from a fledgling
company to an establishment servicing hundreds of families per year.
