Wynema Johnson

  Wynema Johnson, 89, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Wynema was born August 7, 1933, in Lenna, Oklahoma, to Charlie McGuire and Florence (Hughes) McGuire. She had a heart for children and spent many years as a preschool teacher for a local private school. Wynema was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Weatherford. She loved being a homemaker; Wynema's hobbies included gardening and baking for her household. She was thankful for her family in her retirement years, and especially enjoyed spending time with her beautiful grandchildren.

  Wynema is survived by her daughter, Becky Baldwin and husband, Jerry of Newark, Texas; son, Tim Johnson and wife, Naomi of Willis, Texas; three grandchildren, Ashley Real, Jill Houser, and Taylor Johnson; and three great-grandchildren, Mason Real, Cora Houser, and Cami Houser. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas. Following the visitation, a procession will make its way to East Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service to begin at 12:00 p.m.
