Winona Grace Dane

  Winona Grace Dane, 91, of Weatherford, died Thursday, February 14, 2008, in a local nursing facility. Born August 10, 1916, in Poolville, Texas, she was a resident of Parker County all her life. Winona was a homemaker, a member of North Side Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She was a lively, caring person who dearly loved her family. 

  Winona was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Burlie Dane in February 2007.

  She is survived by her daughter, Delena Tanner and husband, Ed of Weatherford; son, Curtis Dane and wife, Martha of Irving; five grandchildren, Mike Tanner and wife, Cheryl, Darell Tanner and wife, Rhoni, Vickie Whittington and husband, Chuck, DeAnn Boyd and husband, Brian, and Greg Dane; six great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.  

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, at North Side Baptist Church, with Rev. Van Houser officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
