Winnie Mae Herrington

  Winnie Mae Herrington, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a short illness.

  She worked in her father’s dairy operation at an early age until her marriage to A.W. (Happy) Herrington in August 1936. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was full of love and joy to her family and friends, who will miss her dearly.

  She is survived by two daughters, Georgia Huddleston and Carole Gober of Weatherford; son, Rex Herrington and wife, Anna of College Station; sister, Lois Cox; brothers, Herman Cox and Lloyd Cox; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

  Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Oak View Cemetery, at Mullin, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March, 12, 2010, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
