William Lawrence Bush

  William Lawrence Bush, 96, of Weatherford, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012, in a local care facility. William was born July 12, 1916, in Lancaster, Texas, to Ira and Robert E. Bush. He was a long time resident of Weatherford.

  Mr. Bush was a retired machinist for LTV, a farmer, a metal worker and talented metal artist. He was a member and deacon at Central Baptist Church. William volunteered for the Central Fire Department and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

  Mr. Bush was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack; and a sister, Jean.

  Survivors include his wife, Julia; sons, Larry Bush and wife, Lee, Gary Bush, all of Weatherford, and Gregg Bush and wife, Patricia of Aledo; sister, Marguerite McLaughlin of Sedona, Arizona; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, at Central Baptist Church, followed by burial in Central Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
