William Gerald Russell

  William Gerald Russell, age 87, of Weatherford, died Thursday evening, January 6, 2011 at his residence. Born September 27, 1923 in Coppell, Texas, a resident of Parker County for 46  years, he was a retired employee of Carswell Air Force Base and a Army Air Force Veteran of World War II.

  Survivors: wife, Maxine Marie Russell of Weatherford; daughters, Carol Ann Broaddus and husband, Dan of Tyler, Texas and Barbara Jean Russell of Sulphur Springs, Texas; son, William D. Russell and wife, Sue of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Mary Jane Winfield of Glen Rose, Texas; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

  Funeral service: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2011, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, and  6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, at the funeral home.
