William (Bill) Thomas Jones

  William “Bill” Thomas Jones, 99, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015. Bill was born April 21, 1916, in Weatherford, to Thomas Craddock and Sophia Ann Jones. He worked for Antelope Oil and Tool and for an oil field equipment manufacturer. Bill was a member of Brock Baptist Church, enjoyed refinishing wooden furniture and gardening. 

  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Peggy. 

  Survivors: wife of 80 years, Lura Jean Jones; children, Billy Wayne Jones and wife, Dena Sue of Timberon, New Mexico, Betty Dale of Weatherford, and Monte Jess Jones and wife, Linda S. of Weatherford; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

  Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Mike Wiley officiating. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
