Wiley Leo Beesley, Jr.

Wiley Leo Beesley, Jr. passed away after a brief illness on March 20, 2021, just one day before his 77th birthday. 

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wiley Leo, Sr. and Libby Louise Beesley, and his sister Barbra Sovoda. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Johnie Beesley; brother, Ronny Beesley and wife, Kathy; sister, Nancy Land and husband, Gene; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Wiley served in the Navy Reserves for 6 years and then worked with Dallas Power and Light/Texas Utility for over 40 years and Synergetic for a few years after retirement. Wiley was a member of South Side Baptist Church, and was a very generous, kind, and loving person who will be missed greatly here on earth, but living a glorious life with our Lord and Savior in heaven.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday March 27, 2021, at South Side Baptist Church, 1115 South Brazos Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. In lieu of flowers the family asks you to donate to your favorite charity.
