Wendy Lee Mayfield, age 74, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Born on August 23, 1951, in Berea, Ohio, Wendy was the cherished daughter of William Graham and Hilda (Deimling) Graham.

Wendy lived a life rooted in devotion to her family. She worked faithfully as a secretary and business manager for the family business while also embracing the treasured role of homemaker and stay-at-home mother. Her love and care created a home filled with warmth, comfort, and creativity.

Of the Baptist faith, Wendy found happiness in life’s gentle moments, such as reading a good book, creating arts and crafts, and spending time with her beloved cats. She carried a kind and thoughtful spirit that will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Wendy was preceded in death by her husband, George Mayfield, and her beloved granddaughter, Kayla Allen.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory: her sons, David Mayfield of Weatherford and William Mayfield of Goddard; her daughter, Abigail Mayfield of Austin; her grandchild, Teagan Mayfield; and her great-grandchildren, Leland and Isaiah Sanger. She is also survived by her siblings, William Graham, David Graham, Gary Graham, and Gayle Steele.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, Wendy’s love, gentle heart, and the memories she created with her family will remain a lasting blessing.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Annetta Cemetery in Annetta, Texas.
