Wayne Thomas "Tommy" Dale

  Wayne Thomas “Tommy” Dale, 61, of Weatherford, passed from this life on March 24, 2009 at home with his wife by his side. Tommy was born September 6, 1947, to Roland and Bertha Mae Dale in Weatherford, where he had lived all his life. Mr. Dale was a proud Army Veteran who during his service time was awarded The Purple Heart while in Vietnam. He was also a Millwright for General Motors for many years, a member of the American Legion and the local V.F.W. 

  Mr. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ricky Dale.  

  Survivors: wife, Kathryn Dale of Weatherford; daughter, Dawn Dale of Weatherford; and sisters, Mae Walden of South Lake, Texas, Donna Grimes of Weatherford, Brenda Wood of Weatherford, and Glenda Roberson and husband, Charles of Weatherford.

  Graveside service will be on Friday, March 27, at 1:00 p.m., at Tin Top Cemetery. The family will have a visitation before the service at 10:00 a.m., in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
