Wanda Sue Shearman

  Wanda Sue Shearman, age 76, of Poolville, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was born September 15, 1940, in Granbury, Texas, to Lillie Pennick. Wanda was a homemaker who enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved to crochet, cross stitch, and sew. She was known as a mother to all, raising five children of her own and a stepson, while also caring for many other children throughout the years.

  Wanda is survived by her husband, Mack Shearman; daughter, Nancy Shearman; son, Donald Shearman and wife, Deborah; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mozel Merrle, Delma Fershaw, and Bernell McNeeley; sons, Jimmy Shearman, Jay Shearman, and Johnny Shearman; and brothers, Jimmy Mays, William Mays, Herman Whitehead, and Jack Whitehead.

  Graveside service for Wanda is at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Poolville Cemetery.
