Wanda Lee McClintock

Loving grandmother to all who were lucky enough to meet her, Wanda Lee McClintock, 94, passed away in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 21, 2023.

Wanda Lee was born to Roy L. Matthews and Gertrude Matthews (Cogdill) on August 10, 1929. in Lubbock, Texas. She spent most of her life in Lubbock, Quitaque, Lake Fork, and Fort Worth, Texas. She enjoyed painting, bird watching, gardening, and playing any game she could cheat at.

Wanda Lee was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Gary Henkel and Danny Payne. She is survived by daughter, Shelia Boyette (Connie); daughter in law, Carmen Lee Henkel; grandchildren, Heather Lee Henkel (Kandle Kulish), Robert Henkel (Lynsey), Tara Boyette Ferrell (Mike), Tammy Boyette Kelly (Peter), and Todd Payne; and two great grandchildren. It was a life well lived and she will be missed.

A family celebration of life will follow at a later date.
