It is with great sadness that the family of Wanda Maxwell, of Weatherford, Texas, announces her passing on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born on August 19, 1958, to James Elliott and Ann (White) Jenkins.
Wanda was a mother above all else. Known for her generosity and caring nature, she always put others first and would go out of her way to help anyone out. More than anything, she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Elliott, and her brother, Edward Elliott.
Wanda’s legacy lives on through her cherished family: her three sons and their families, Brent Maxwell and Ashley Tice, Todd Maxwell and Samara Dibble, and Cooper and Skylah Maxwell; and nine beloved grandchildren, Kadyn Maxwell, Harlee Maxwell, Walker Maxwell, Libby Maxwell, Kylie Cannon, Baylor Maxwell, Colby Maxwell, Hudson Maxwell, and Casen Maxwell. She is also survived by her mother, Ann Jenkins, and five siblings and their spouses, Darrell Elliott, Mike Elliott, Kandy Rios (Joe), Carol Hollingsworth (Darrell), and Dennis Elliott (Wanda).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, beginning at 2:00 p.m., located at the Zion Hill Community Center, at 3315 Zion Hill Road, in Weatherford, Texas.
