Wanda Lunell Grant

Wanda Lunell Grant, 88, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, February 07, 2007, in the local hospital. Wanda was born December 31, 1918, in Weatherford, where she was a life long resident. Wanda was a homemaker and a former public school music teacher. She was a devoted mother and wife; she loved her church and choir and had a life long love for music. Wanda was a member of Couts United Methodist Church, the retired teachers association and the Weatherford College Exes. 

  She is survived by her son, Larry Gayle Grant of Weatherford; sisters, Pat Holt of Weatherford and Fayedelle York and husband, Jack of Haltom City; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. 

  Funeral service:10:00 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2007, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment: Memory Gardens. Visitation: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday evening, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
