Wanda Joy Ogle

Wanda Joy Ogle, 85, of Weatherford, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a short battle with pneumonia on Friday, June 21, 2019.
Funeral service: 2 pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at North Side Baptist Church with interment to follow in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 pm, Monday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Wanda was born February 16, 1934 in Lamkin, Texas to Roy and Novalene (Rinehart) Beggs. Novalene passed away when Wanda was 3 she then was raised by L.C. and Lena Cox. She was the owner/operator of Wanda’s Restaurant for over 30 years, where she made many longtime friends whom she dearly loved. Wanda, a two time cancer survivor, was a devoted Mother and Nanny. She was also a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her birth parents, Roy and Novalene Beggs; the parents that raised her, L.C. and Lena Cox; husband, James Ogle; the father of her children, Glendale Crooks; brothers, Jackie and James Beggs; grandson in law, Rusty Malone.

Wanda is survived by her children Glen Crooks Jr. and wife, Teresa; Debbie Mask and husband Butch; sisters, Lulu Gibson and Sheryl Brown; grandchildren, Amy Malone, Robert Mask III and wife, Jacquie and Taylor Crooks and wife, Shelby; great grandchildren, Lane and Brooke Malone, Robert IV and Stran Mask; Braelyn and Timber Crooks; numerous nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends and long time customers.
