Virginia Edythe Turner

Virginia Edythe Turner, age 83, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Virginia was born May 13, 1934, in Kerrville, Tennessee, to Bennie Frank and Dixie Hopkins Frank. She worked many years as a nurse’s aide and bookkeeping. She enjoyed cooking and homemaking and spending time with friends and family.

Virginia is survived by her stepdaughters, Regina Rice and Geraldine Burns; stepsons, Thomas Turner and James Turner; niece, Beverly Allen; and cousin, Diane Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Turner; father, Bennie Frank; mother, Dixie Hopkins Frank; and brother, Aubrey Betts, Jr.

Funeral Ceremony 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel. Visitation 1 hour prior. Brian Leatherman will officiate. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery 8:30 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018.
