Viola Garvin Hampton, devoted servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, passed from this life on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at age 86. Viola was born on March 19, 1940, in Rotan, Texas, to Ernest Garvin and Willie Bell (Gilreath) Garvin. After graduating from Campbell Hospital Vocational School of Nursing in May 1960, she dedicated 45 years to nursing in Parker County.   Viola was deeply passionate about international Christian missions. She faithfully prayed for missionaries and generously supported mission work around the world throughout her life. Her commitment to sharing the love of Christ extended far beyond her local community.

A faithful church member, Viola actively supported Women on Missions and encouraged others to give generously to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Her dedication to God's work and her servant's heart left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
