Vincente G. Amaro

  Vicente G. Amaro, age 85, of Whitney, Texas, went home to see the Lord on May 31, 2013. Mr. Amaro was born July 19, 1927 in Donna, Texas.  

  His parents and two sisters precede him in death.

  Mr. Amaro is survived by his wife, Rita Amaro of Weatherford; daughters, Cris Galindo and husband, Mike of Whitney, Texas, Norma Harper and husband, Tim of Weatherford, and Rita Lopez of Weatherford; sons, David Amaro and wife, Caroline of Hamilton, Texas, Joe Amaro of Weatherford, and Paul Amaro of Palestine, Texas; two brothers, Chon Garcia and Juan Garcia; six sisters, Alisia Villerreal, Olivia Galavez, Olga Garcia, and Maria Amaro; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty one great grandchildren.

  Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2013, at St. Stephens Catholic Church. Interment at Spring Creek Cemetery. Rosary, 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
