Troy Joe Sessums, age 73, of Springtown, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Sessum was born March 6, 1940 in Itasca, Texas. He was a retired LT. for the Tarrant County Sherriff’s Office, a lifetime member of the NRA, was a Leatherman, Gun Smith, Rancher and enjoyed carpentry. Troy is preceded in death by his wife Linda Sessums. Survivors: Daughter; Leila Roberts, son, Scooter Sessums, six grandchildren, Kasie, Bryson, Logan, J.D., Hannah and Kensee.
Funeral: 10:00 am Friday at Hilltop Family Church in Springtown. Interment in Springtown Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
