Tim VanZandt, 24, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006, in Weatherford. Born August 30, 1982 in Bedford, Texas, he was a derrick hand for Nabors Drilling. Tim loved to fish, hunt and camp and loved the outdoors.
Survivors: father, Randy and Debbie VanZandt of Weatherford; mother, Deborah Green of Granbury; brothers, David Michael VanZandt and wife, Brandy, and their children of Weatherford; Curtis Thomas of Weatherford; Allen Thomas and wife, Judy, and their children of Leander; Jason Thomas and wife, Kerri, and their children of Weatherford; grandfather, Nathan VanZandt of Decatur; grandparents, Ken and Joyce Hagan; numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Memorial service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2006, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
