Tim Thomas, age 56, of Weatherford, died Sunday, November 28, 2010, in the local hospital. Born December 8, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for several years, he was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and a former cabinet maker and farmer. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Baptist Church, loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Survivors: wife, Gail Thomas of Weatherford; daughter, Wendy Thomas and companion, Rick of Fort Worth; son, Michael Swiney and companion, Misty of Weatherford; sister, Becky Wacasey of Granbury; brothers, Tommy Thomas of North Richland Hills, Jerry Thomas and wife, Patti of Watauga; one grandchild, “The Sunshine of his Life” Cody Pope; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
