Thomas "Tom" Wesley Swint, Jr.

Thomas “Tom” Wesley Swint, Jr., 90, of Weatherford passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 in a local nursing facility. Funeral: 2 p.m, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church with interment to follow in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m, Monday evening at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Tom was born March 27, 1927 in Donley County, Texas. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired as Captain of the Fort Worth Fire Department after 40 years of dedicated service. Tom loved the outdoors, especially gardening and farming. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bettye Swint; son, Jim Swint and wife Charlotte; grandchildren, Travis Swint, Angela Knotts, Jennifer Chisum and Melissa Knotts and three great grandchildren, Riley, Connor, Logan and Aiden.
