Teresa B. Niehoff, age 56, of Granbury, Texas, passed away peacefully at Trinity Nursing & Rehab Center in Granbury, Texas, on Thursday, April 2, 2015.
Teresa is the daughter of Ernest and Bernadine (Bode) Pasek. She was born in Russell, Kansas, and grew up in Dorrance, Kansas. She graduated from Dorrance High School and attended Barton County Community College from which she earned her LPN license. In 1989 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Niehoff. Teresa worked as an LPN at Wilson Nursing Home and various nursing homes in Granbury until her medical condition forced her into early retirement. She enjoyed baking, candy making, embroidery, Nascar, and her beloved Kansas City Chiefs. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and especially her granddaughter.
She is survived by daughter, Amber Alward and friend, Bob Walker; granddaughter, Kielyn of Granbury, Texas; sisters, Anita Bassler, Sandy (Ron) Karst, Sherry (Randy) Sloan of Dorrance, KS, Joan (Tom) Weinhold of Wilson, Kansas, and Connie (Richard) Urban of Lucas, Kansas; her brothers, Larry (Kelly) Pasek, Mitch Pasek of Dorrance, Kansas, Kenneth (Gloria) Pasek of Canton, Kansas, and Steve Pasek of Wichita, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; and one brother, Ernie Pasek.
Known as “Weezer” to family and close friends, Teresa will be sadly missed.
