Ted S. "Buddy" Grable

  Ted S. “Buddy” Grable, 73, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008, in a Fort Worth hospital. Born June 8, 1934, in Weatherford, where he was a life long resident. Buddy owned Buddy Grable Plumbing, was a member of North Side Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting. 

  Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Ethel Grable. 

  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Virginia Grable of Weatherford; son, Kirk Grable and wife, Cheryl of Willow Park; sister, Dana Sue Alcorn and husband, Charles of Weatherford; and brother, V.W. Grable and wife, Glenda of Weatherford. 

  Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2008, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Van N. Houser officiating. Interment: Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
