Tammye Laye Shreves, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on May 10, 2024. She was born on August 18, 1961, in Weatherford, Texas, to Ryke Moore and Janie Moore. Tammye's love story began when she met her high school sweetheart, Juston Shreves, whom she married at the young age of 17. Their bond lasted for an incredible 45 years.
Growing up in Weatherford and later moving to Springtown in the 90’s, Tammye cherished moments spent with her family and adored her grandchildren dearly. Her love extended not only to her family but also to her furry companions as she had a special place in her heart for her dogs. Tammye found joy in riding motorcycles, although she preferred being a passenger rather than taking the lead. During her leisure time, she engaged in activities she loved such as crocheting, cooking delicious meals, and tending to her garden with a particular fondness for roses.
Tammye is survived by her loving husband, Juston Shreves; devoted sister, Robbin Hood and her husband, Jeff; sons, Ray Shreves with his wife, Monica, and Jason Shreves with his wife, Elizabeth; as well as her caring mother, Janie Moore. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Katelynn Burt, Madison Shreves, Cody Shreves, Brianna Shreves, and Ashley Shreves.
She is now reunited with her father, Ryke Moore, in eternal peace.
A visitation to honor Tammye's life will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas.
The funeral ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 15th, at the same location.
Tammye's presence will be deeply missed but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
