Tamara Anne Smith

  Tamara Anne Smith 55, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2015.  

  Tamara was born November 25, 1959, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and best known to her family and friends as “Tami”. She loved the outdoors, animals, riding her motorcycle, swimming, gardening and reading books. Tami was multi-talented, having worked as a cashier at local stores up to scribing metal for the aerospace industry. 

  Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Jerry Smith of Weatherford; daughter, Serena Thorton-Owen and her husband, John of Mesquite; daughter, Julianne Malaspina and her husband, Brandon of Aledo; and son, Jason Smith and his wife, Brittny of Poolville.  

  Tami is also survived by her father, Joseph Byrnes and his wife, Opal of Bedford; grandchildren, Kashton, Colt and Michaela; her loving sister, Diana and family, of Wichita Falls; step-sister, Cam Meredith-Quadlin of Henderson, Nevada; step-brother, Gary Meredith of Las Vegas, Nevada; numerous Godchildren; and her best friend, Cindy Lu Fox and her husband, John of Dallas.

  Tami was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Joan Thorpe of Las Vegas, Nevada.
