Susie Roberts Trimble

Susie Roberts Trimble, 78, of Weatherford passed away Monday, Dec. 29. 2014.   Susie was born Jan.1, 1936, in Fort Worth to JC and Elizabeth “Betty” Roberts.  She was a retired executive from Mattel Toy Company, and later the proprietor of her beloved Susie’s Downtown Cafe in Weatherford for a number of years.  Susie was actively involved with Weatherford ISD as a substitute teacher and harbored a great passion for cooking, knitting, and training and showing her Labrador Retrievers.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joy Morton.  Susie is survived by sons: Michael Minatra, Anthony Trimble, Christopher Trimble; seven grandchildren; and two nephews.

Memorial service to be held 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to the American Kennel Club or a charity of choice.
