Sue Darlene Lee

Sue Darlene Smoot Lee was born in Dallas, Texas, on December 22, 1952, and passed away on April 14, 2024.

After a short and sudden battle with cancer and surrounded by her two daughters, Sue left for her heavenly home.

Sue will always be remembered for her caring spirit, her contagious smile and her ability to clean and tidy up anything anywhere. She was always the first to hug and the first to share her heart with others. Sue was the epitome of a nurturing soul!  

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dollie Smoot, as well as her brother, James Ronald Smoot.

She is survived by her two sisters: Cathy Smoot Lochridge and Debra Smoot deVilder. She leaves behind her daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Agustin Araiza of Springtown, Texas, and Lacey and Kevin Horn of Weatherford, Texas. She will be greatly missed by her grandson, Harvey Horn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Everyone will miss their “Tootie.”
