Sherri Wolfenberger

  Sherri Wolfenberger, 65, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on July 22, 2026, surrounded by her family.

  Sherri was born on April 6, 1961 in Brownwood, Texas, to BR and Irene Holloway.

  Sherri was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, Gram, aunt, and friend. She built a beautiful life and family with her husband, Travis, who was the love of her life. Together they nurtured a strong and loving marriage for nearly 38 years. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her nine grandchildren. She loved hunting, fishing, reading a good book, quilting and puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time at Winstar with her sisters, taking care of her flower garden, and camping with her family. She loved her job as HR Director for GSA, where she worked for 35 years and made numerous lifelong friendships.

  Sherri is lovingly survived by her husband, Travis Wolfenberger; daughters, Karlee Hall (Brad) of Millsap, Kolbie Hicks (Jerrod) of Moulton, and Karissa Bell (JT) of Peaster; grandchildren, Conner, Hayden, Cadence, Wyatt, Bryce, Callen, Spencer, Remie, and Saylor; siblings, Lynn Ryan (Talmadge), Vicki Hunter (Alton), Karl Holloway (Diane), and Kevin Holloway (Tomara); several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

  Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, BR and Irene Holloway.

  Though we deeply grieve the loss of Sherri, we know her love and legacy will live on through her family and friends.

  Visitation for Sherri will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
