Shelley Kay Oaks

  Shelley Kay Oaks, age 52, passed from this life Thursday, January 21, 2016, at a Weatherford hospital. Shelley was born April 19, 1963, in Weatherford, Texas, to Jerrell Oaks and Beverly Perry Carpenter. She was a former bank teller, loved fishing, and going to the car races.

  Shelley is survived by her mother, Beverly Carpenter of Weatherford; sons, Jimmy Jackson of Weatherford, Heath Jackson of Cushion, Oklahoma, Jacob Jackson, Gerrald Jackson and wife, Kassandra, both of Lipan, Texas; sister, Ginger Smith and husband, Kenneth of Glen Rose, Texas; brother, Tracy Oaks and wife, Dawn of Weatherford, Texas; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerrell Wayne Oaks.

   Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
