Sharon Irene Gibson, 62, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, left us unexpectedly to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, October 20, 2007. Sharon was born March 21, 1945, to Zelma and Curtis O. Hearnsberger, Sr., in Port Arthur, Texas.
She was a breath of fresh air, charismatic, loving and giving. She married her best friend and life partner David H. Gibson and moved to Weatherford where she lived happily raising her four much loved daughters. She was a joyful delight and her intoxicating laughter will live forever in our minds. She will be missed but never forgotten always having a place in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Curtis O. Hearnsberger, Sr., and brothers, Morgan and David Hearnsberger.
Survivors: husband, David H Gibson; mother, Zelma Hearnsberger; daughters, Lisa Peacock of Weatherford, Shelly Davidson of Weatherford, Emily Hoyle of Bandera, Texas, and Rachel Bradshaw of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Megan and Ethan Hindman, and Kathryn Elizabeth Bradshaw; brothers, Curtis O. Hearnsberger, Jr. of Groves, Texas and Robert Hearnsberger of Glen Allen, Virginia; sister, LaWanda Neighbors of Granbury; aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2007, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel Interment: Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
