Scott Walter Ratheal

 Scott Walter Ratheal, age 49, passed away on February 19th in Weatherford, Texas.

 Scott was born on March 30th, 1976, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Max and Gay Ratheal. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 1994.

 Scott attended Hill College Fire Academy and graduated in 1998. He started his work as a firefighter for the Stamford Fire Department in 1999. Scott then went on to work for the Plainview Fire Department from October 1999 to 2011. He also worked for various EMS services as a paramedic, including Hale County, Stamford, Plainview, Dimmit, Tulia, Floydada, Crosbyton, Silverton, Clyde, and Abilene. Scott will always be remembered for his love and dedication to his profession.

 Scott married Gwen Lee in March of 2000, and together they had three beautiful girls.

 Scott was preceded in death by his father, Max Ratheal; grandparents, Fabian and Jean Lemley, and Alvie and Charlsie Ratheal.

 He is survived by daughters, Breanna Ratheal of Stamford; Melanie Green and husband, Evan Green, of Haskell; Chloe Ratheal of Plainview. He is also survived by granddaughters, Pyper Green and Wrenlee Green; his mother, Gay Ratheal, of Weatherford; brother, Jeff and wife, Stephanie Ratheal, of Lubbock; sister, Jill and husband, Ralph Cribbs, of Weatherford; his nieces, Kaitlyn and husband, Bryce Jackson, of Weatherford; Meg and Will Green of Midland; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

 There are no services that will be held at this time.
