Sara Gay Neal-Thomason

  Sara Neal-Thomason, age 51, of Fort Worth, passed away July 1, 2019. Sara was born to Roderic and Christine Neal, on June 15, 1968, in Portales, New Mexico. She loved her family, traveling, antiques, crafts, and painting. She also enjoyed nature, spending time outdoors, and gazing at the stars. Sara worked alongside her daughter at Azle Vision Source as an Optician and enjoyed work and helping patients. 

  Sara is survived by her husband, Bill Thomason of Weatherford; daughters, Natasha Lovato of Weatherford and Nicole Lovato of Azle; grandchildren, Alissa Hickman and William Elliot; parents, Rod and Christine Neal of Portales, New Mexico; sisters, Valeri Wright of Alamogordo, New Mexico and Ellen Neal and husband, Don of Parker, Colorado. 

  Sara was preceded in death by her sister, Dora Neal and brother, Rod Neal. 

  A graveside service will be held Monday, July 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at the Eiland Cemetery, in Roosevelt County, New Mexico.
