September 16, 1945 — March 20, 2009

  Surrounded by her loving family on March 20, 2009, Sandra Gail was called home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 24th, at 10:00 a.m., at Greenwood Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Monday, March 23rd, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home. 

  Sandra Gail was born in Portales, New Mexico, on September 16, 1945. She was raised in Peaster, Texas where she met and married Johnny Nolte and was widowed in 1976. She continued to be a loving mother to their three children and completed her degree at Texas Christian University in 1980.

  Sandra Gail remarried Fred Erickson November 10, 1984. They lived in Aledo, Texas until Sandra Gail retired from teaching after twenty three years with Fort Worth ISD. They retired to Weatherford, Texas where they loved and cherished their six grandchildren. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Sandra Gail loved to travel with her grandchildren, family, and friends especially to Big Bend and Colorado. She will always be loved and forever missed. 

  Sandra Gail was preceded in death by husband, Johnny Nolte, and parents, Alvin and Ruby Wellborn. 

  She is survived by husband, Fred Erickson; daughters, Lesa Scott and husband, Sheldon,
Mechelle Burg and husband, Edward, Belinda Woodruff and husband, Paul, and Lana Fisher;
son, John Nolte and wife, Teresa; grandchildren, Michaela Scott, Madyson, John, and Cameron Nolte, Joshua Burg, and Devon Woodruff; sister, Carol Dugan and husband, Mack; brother, George Wellborn and wife, Pat; and many loving nieces and nephews.
 
  Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Greenwood Baptist Church. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
