Samantha Jean Elson

  Samantha Jean Elson, age 18, of Weatherford, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, in Arlington. She was born December 8, 1988, in Fort Worth, Texas. Samantha was employed at Tiger Mart Subway on I-20 and Hwy 51. She had attended cosmetology school and dreamed to fulfill her goal of owning a salon to follow in the steps of her grandfather. 

  Samantha is survived by her parents, Terry Elson of Fort Worth and Kelley Woodward and husband, Larry of Weatherford; sister, Elisha Cummins and husband, Michael of Longview; brother, Austin Woodward of Weatherford; grandparents, Pat and Lee Morris of Fort Worth, Bill and Pearl Dixon of Weatherford, and Freda Woodward of Weatherford; best friends, Stephanie and Shannon Adams; other relatives and numerous friends. 

  Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
