  Sallie Jane Smith, 77, of Weatherford, formerly of Springtown, passed away Sunday December 13, 2015, in a nursing facility. Sallie was born February 13, 1938, in Seymour, Texas, to JD and Blanche Hoffard Luttrell. She was a machinist for Weatherford Oil and Tool, a member of the Baptist church and The Daughters of Rebekah. Sallie liked to dance, listen to Country and Western music and cook for her family. She was a former volunteer at Neighbor to Neighbor in Springtown. 

  Sallie was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 41 years, Willie Smith; brother, Calvin Luttrell; and sister, Nancy Sue Burlison. 

  Survivors include, daughter, Carol Sue Rather and husband, David of Springtown; sons, David Smith and wife, Cindy Fonville of Millsap, Joe Bob Smith and wife, Leola of Weatherford; sisters, Peggy Parten of Joshua and Jeffie Johnson of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren, Heather Arnold and husband, Perry Hudson, Susan Heaton, Bradley David Smith, Calvin Don Smith, Valerie Keplinger and husband, David, John Swake and Carla Smith; as well as numerous step grandchildren. 

  Sallie is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, Ericka, Taylor, Michael, Matthew, Sara, Kimber, Amber, Allison, Jonathon and Kirsten; one great great grandchild, Sutton Rose; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

  Graveside service: 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, in Central Cemetery, with Bro. Dale Reynolds and Bro. Clark Bosher officiating. Visitation:6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Galbreaith Pickard.
