S. M. Adcock

  S.M. Adcock, 84, of Weatherford, died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at a Weatherford nursing center. Sam was born March 16, 1923, in Thackerville, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weatherford, retired from the Fort Worth Sanitation Department and an Air Force Veteran. 

  Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bessie Adcock, brother, Walter Adcock, nephew, Richard Adcock and sister, Gladys Robertson. 

  Survivors: wife, Helen of Weatherford; sons, John Mark Adcock of Denton and Eric Andrew Adcock and wife, Dawn of Nocona; sister, Frances Liddell of Weatherford; and three grandchildren.

  Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2007, in the First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Burial: Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Memorials: First Baptist Church.
