Ryke Moore

  Daron Ryke Moore, age 68, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2012, at Baylor All Saints after complications from an auto accident on June 7, 2012. Ryke was born on July 29, 1944, in Ranger, Texas, to Daron and Margaret Hargrave Moore. He enjoyed building high performance race engines for cars and boats, in the 1980’s was ranked in the top 10 of high performance race engines builders in the U.S.

  Ryke was preceded in death by his parents, Daron and Margaret Hargrave Moore.

  He is survived by daughters, Tammye Shreves and husband, Juston, and Robbin Moore Hood; sister, Vickie Moore Young and her son, Eli Young; grandsons, Ray Shreves and wife, Monica, and Jason Shreves and wife, Elizabeth; four great-granddaughters, one great-grandson; two aunts, other family members and many friends mourn the loss of him being gone.

  Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2012, at East Greenwood Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
