Ruth Robison

  Ruth Clamon Robison passed away peacefully at her home in Brock with her loving husband and family members at her side on September 22, 2007, at the age of 82. Ruth was born October 19, 1924, in Kemp, Texas, to Samual and Una Clamon. She grew up in the East Texas area and married Marvin Robison at the age of 26. They built their home in Brock and have lived there for 45 years. Ruth and Marvin shared 57 loving and memorable years together. 

  In her almost 83 years, Ruth had been a loving wife and mother, a wonderful grandmother and a friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling and was an expert seamstress. She also enjoyed her time she spent working at Remembrance Flower shop and the time she spent volunteering at the Weatherford Senior Center when she had been able to. Ruth will be deeply missed but always remembered by her family, friends and especially her husband. 

  Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Woody and his wife, Helen Clamon; and her sister, Nadine and her husband, Hershel Steelman. 

  She is survived by her husband, Marvin Robison of Brock; son, Gary Robison and wife, Janet of Barnard, Vermont; daughter, Linda Kelley of Weatherford; son, Ted Robison and wife, Marilyn of Springtown; and brother, Norman Clamon and wife, Myrtle of Boyd; seven grandchildren: Chris Robison, Dana Kelley, Kimberly Richardson, Lisa Coffman, Crystal Huddleston, Tonya Langston, and Justin Robison; eight great-grandchildren: Brad Dragoo, Wesley Stanley, Madison and Nicholas Coffman, Shyann Richardson and Kayliee, Kyle and Kaden Bell. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. 

  Services will be at Brock Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Brock Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
