Ruby Parsons

Ruby Irene Parsons, of Weatherford, passed away, February 27, 2016. She was born April 4, 1923, the daughter of Henry and Laura McClure Pickering, in Haskell. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and a former member of Eureka Baptist Church. Ruby owned The Tropicana Pet Shop for many years. She was preceded in death by husbands, Rex Parsons and James Thomson and daughters, Myrna Lonell and husband, H.B. McNutt, and Glenda Marilynn McKenzie. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include son-in-law, JD McKenzie; brother, Virgil Pickering; grandsons, Scott McNutt and wife, Anita, Brian McNutt, Jimmy McKenzie and wife, Tammy, and Shane McKenzie and wife, Beverly; 12 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; two nieces; and numerous other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Weatherford Senior Center.
