Roy Lee Byrd, 71, of Millsap, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in a Fort Worth hospital. Mr. Byrd was born May 26, 1940, in Mineral Wells, Texas, to Leonard and Charlie Belle Byrd. Roy was a farmer and rancher, he loved his family and life on the farm.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Byrd of Millsap; daughters, Carrie Kelley and husband, Brent of Weatherford, Brenda Byrd of Weatherford; son, David Byrd and wife, Jennifer of Millsap; and sister, Mary Ruth West of Lubbock; and six grandchildren, Abigail, Jack, Dalton, Derek, Dakota, and Taylor.
Graveside: 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Cox Cemetery.
