Roy Gene Jackson

  Roy Gene Jackson, age 52, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in a Weatherford nursing facility. Roy was born on February 2, 1962, in Weatherford, to Raymond and Nelda Jackson. He was a special person who warmed the hearts of all who came in contact with him. Roy always had a happy greeting for everyone whether he knew them or not. He brought joy to many people, he spoke to everyone and never met a stranger. 

  He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Jackson; sister, Beverly Brown; and brother, Larry Jackson. 

  Roy is survived by his mother, Nelda Jackson; sister, Becky Teague and husband, Rickey; brother, Ricky Jackson; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by all.

  Funeral 2:00 p.m., Friday, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Herring Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
