Rosa Lea Berry

  Rosa Lea Berry, age 87, of Weatherford, died Monday evening, September 3, 2012, in the local hospital. Born August 18, 1925, in Clinton, Arkansas, a resident of Weatherford for many years. She was a homemaker, an avid sports fan, score keeper for Weatherford Softball League, retired food service director for the Weatherford Independent School District and she taught nutrition classes at Weatherford College. 

   Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Fate and Mable Moore; husband, Raymond Berry; son, Gary Berry; and two brothers, A. B. Moore and James Moore.

  Survivors: daughter, Patty Oglesby and husband, Tim of Springtown; son, Gerald Berry and wife, Sharon of Weatherford; seven grandchildren, Richard Berry, Donna Barrow, Paul Berry, Bryan Berry, Scott Marshall, Karri O’Conner, and Ryan Oglesby; 20 great grandchildren; and sister, Sue Hurley of Little Rock, Arkansas.

  Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 7, 2012, in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the funeral home.
