Ronald Gene Williams, 82, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, at West Fork Assisted Living in Weatherford. Ron was born October 6, 1943, in National City, California, to Herman E. Williams and Syble (Harris) Williams. He moved with his family to Fort Worth at the age of five. He graduated from Brewer High School and later attended Weatherford College.

Ron began taking guitar lessons in school and eventually switched to bass guitar. He loved all kinds of music and could sit and play for hours. When he needed a break, he often turned to working on cars—another passion he could enjoy for hours at a time.

Ron spent 29 years as a manufacturing engineer for Lockheed Martin. He loved to travel and took every opportunity to see as much of the world as he could. One of his greatest joys was sharing his cars with his grandchildren—driving them to school, taking them for rides around the neighborhood, or enjoying a weekend car cruise together.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Williams; his sons, Ronald G. Williams and wife, Shawnell, and Terry Williams and wife, Jennifer; his grandchildren, Brennan Williams and wife, Natalei, Allison Williams, Caleb Williams and wife, Jessie, and Gavin Williams; and his nephews, Tim Williams and Todd Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Outreach of Love Church, located at 134 Otto Rd, Weatherford, Texas 76087.
