Ronald Nelson Hall

Ronald Nelson Hall, 80, passed peacefully on October 20, 2023, at home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in Columbia, MO, January 2, 1943, the son of Roy Nelson and M. Jane Hall. After enjoying being on the football team as quarterback, Ron graduated from Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, UT in 1963. He continued on to school at the University of Houston. Later, Ron was appointed to be the regional sales manager for Allen Foods, Inc., LASCO division for 33 years before retiring to his beautiful property and home in Weatherford, TX. Ron and his wife, Sheila, married in 1983 and blended their families.

Ron is survived by wife, Sheila; brother, Robert Nelson Hall; and children: Lori J. Whitaker, Robert N. Hall, and Amy L. (T. Clay) Smith; as well as his grandchildren, whom he often referred to as “Weasers 1-6”: Ryan N. Hall, Hunter T. (Deandra) Smith, Wyatt H. Whitaker, Madison G. Hall, Westin K. Whitaker, and Kiernan L. Smith; along with some very special friends, cousins, and loving nieces and nephews in Texas, Missouri, Michigan, Utah, and Florida.

Ron is predeceased by his father; mother; and his sister, Carolyn Sue Gilbert.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas.
