Ronald Caroll Martin

Ronald Carroll Martin, a cherished soul, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 16, 2026, in Weatherford, Texas. Born on March 3, 1948, in Weatherford, he was the beloved son of Murray Wilson Martin and Alma Ruth Lathrop Martin, and the youngest of six siblings.

Ronald proudly graduated from Weatherford High School and served his country in the United States Army from July 1968 to July 1971, showcasing his dedication and commitment. A longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Weatherford, he found joy and community in his faith.

Beyond his service and faith, Ronald had a passion for life. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and shooting pool, often sharing these hobbies with friends and family. His laughter and spirit brought joy to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his five siblings: Don W. Martin, Paul Martin, Murray Earl Martin, Daphne Peel, and Mary Inman. Ronald’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his numerous nieces and nephews, who will carry fond memories of their beloved uncle.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his loving spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering faith.

A memorial service for Ronald will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 3:00pm.
