Ronald K. Lively, age 80, passed peacefully from this life on his 80th birthday, Monday, September 29, 2025. He was born in Hamilton, Texas, on September 29, 1945, to Kenneth and Maudie (Whitaker) Lively, who instilled in him the values of faith, family, and hard work.

With a spirit of service and courage, Ronald proudly wore the uniform of the United States Navy. Following his military service, he dedicated himself to protecting others as a Fort Worth Police Officer and later served with honor along the southern border as a member of the U.S. Border Patrol. A man of resilience and determination, Ronald later found fulfillment in many vocations - from long hauls on the open road as a truck driver to closing his career as a salesman, where his gift of conversation and genuine character shone through.

In November of 1982, Ronald married the love of his life, Kimberly Frownfelter. Together, they built a home filled with devotion and love, raising two sons who were his greatest pride.

Ronald’s passions revealed the adventurous side of his soul. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed the quiet challenge of golf, and cherished time spent ranching and hunting. Many of his happiest memories were made beneath wide Texas skies on ATV adventures while hunting, with family and friends by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Maudie Lively.

Ronald leaves behind his beloved wife of nearly 43 years, Kim Lively of Weatherford, Texas; his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Rachel Lively, and Jack and Kristina Lively; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, who will carry his legacy forward with love. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ray Lively and Teresa Nail; mother-in-law, Barbara Frownfelter; sister-in-law, Marci Phillips; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Terri and Mark Calder; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember him with affection and gratitude.

A celebration of life will be held in Ronald’s memory at a later date and time.
