Robert Sidney Davis, Sr.

  Robert Sidney Davis, Sr. passed away in his home, Sunday, June 17, 2012. He was 80 years young.

  Mr. Davis spent eight years in the Navy Tactical Air Control Squadron during the Korean War.  He was retired from Lockheed Martin, in Fort Worth, Texas.

  His wife, Doris Davis, and a daughter, Laura Davis, preceded him in death.

  Survivors include his children, Pam Parrick, Cindi Frodyma, Robert (Sid) Davis, Jr. and Diana Vidrine; nine grandchildren; and three sisters, Ruby Winters, Cynthia Watkins, and Jo Hatcher.

  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery.
