Robert Scott Welch, 45, of Willow Park, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Robert was born October 24, 1963 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a devoted husband, loving father and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Rob loved to play golf, spend time at the lake and enjoyed water sports. He was President of GL Barron Company and a member of North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Dee and his father, Erwin Welch.
Rob is survived by his wife, Teresa Welch; daughter, Shannon Welch; son, Scott Welch, all of Willow Park; mother, Ellen Larson of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters, Debbie Kirchoff of Omaha, Nebraska, and Cheri Rome of Tyler, Texas.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2009, in the North Side Baptist Church. Interment in Omaha, Nebraska. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
