Robert Louis Mazur

Robert Louis Mazur, 81, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, of Weatherford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening, April 22, 2021, in Weatherford.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N. Main Street, in Weatherford. Burial will be held at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.

Robert was born on April 21, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio, to Casimir and Anna Mazur. He married Carolyn Mueller July 2, 1967, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and together had two children, Robert and Tracy. Their family was completed later in life when they adopted Ashton. He worked as a truck driver in the oilfields and later as a prison guard. Robert will affectionately be remembered for his out-going personality and for his sense of humor. Most of all, Robert cherished time spent with this family – particularly his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Mazur.

Robert is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his children, Tracy and husband, Terry Carter, Robert Louis Mazur, and Ashton Louis Mazur; his grandchildren, Arington Mazur and Bailly Carter; as well as his sister, Carol Baggs, and John Mazur.
